Olamide books London’s O2 Arena for March 2027, his biggest London show

Olamide Adedeji, the rapper and YBNL boss better known as Olamide or Baddo, will headline The O2 Arena in London on Thursday, 25 March 2027. Promoters Hera Touring and YBNL Entertainment confirmed the date on Monday, 19 October.

It is the biggest room he has ever headlined in London. The O2 holds about 20,000 people, according to Pulse Nigeria. His last London show, at OVO Arena Wembley on 23 November 2025, was in a venue Pulse puts at roughly 12,000.

“London has always shown me love, from the early days to Wembley,” Olamide said in the announcement, adding that playing The O2 is something he has dreamed about for a long time. Abi Babalola of Hera Touring called the night “a coronation”.

When do Olamide O2 Arena tickets go on sale?

General sale opens at 10am on Friday, 23 October, through AXS, Ticketmaster and Cokobar.com, according to the promoters’ release published by NotJustOk. Two presales come before that: the O2 Priority and artist presale, which opened at 10am on Wednesday, 21 October, and a venue presale, which opened at 10am on Thursday, 22 October.

GistMatrix checked The O2’s own events page at about 7:25am WAT on Tuesday, 20 October. The listing had Olamide on 25 March 2027 with a 6:30pm start, “On Sale Oct 23 at 10:00 AM”, and a ticket button that still read “On sale soon”. No prices were shown.

Fans buying from Nigeria get one small break. Until the UK clocks go back on Sunday, 25 October, London and Lagos are on the same time, so 10am on each sale day is 10am WAT as well.

How did Olamide get from Wembley to The O2?

The O2 show comes 16 months after his Wembley comeback. Here are the dates, from our own check of the reports:

• 2016: his previous London headline show before Wembley, according to Pulse Nigeria.
• 2025: he releases his self-titled album, Olamidé.
• Sunday, 23 November 2025: he headlines OVO Arena Wembley, with Asake, Seyi Vibez, Lil Kesh and Pheelz among his guests. Pulse reported that the ticket site crashed minutes after sales opened.
• Saturday, 17 October 2026: Culture Custodian reports the O2 date.
• Monday, 19 October 2026: Hera Touring and YBNL confirm the show. Olamide teases it on Instagram with a flyer and a video of him painting the date on a wall.
• 21 to 23 October 2026: presales, then general sale.

Which other Nigerian artists have headlined The O2?

Olamide is the sixth Nigerian artist to headline the venue, Pulse Nigeria reported, after Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema. One of those names is a YBNL story too: Asake broke through on Olamide’s label, so the boss is now following an act he helped launch onto the same stage.

Other acts who came through the label include Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh. The promoters say the set will run from his street-hop records to songs from Olamidé, with special guests to be named later.

What is Burukutu, Olamide’s new song?

Burukutu is Olamide’s first new single since the O2 date was confirmed. The official audio went up on YouTube through his distributor, EMPIRE, on Tuesday, 20 October, credited to YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The upload names BlaiseBeatz as producer and lists Olamide Adedeji and Marcel Akunwata as writers. It runs just over five minutes.

A day after it dropped, the London listing had not moved. When GistMatrix checked The O2’s events page again at about 8:35pm WAT on Wednesday, 21 October, the Olamide date still showed “On sale soon”, with general sale at 10am on Friday, 23 October. There were still no prices.

After the venue presale at 10am on Thursday, 22 October, general sale opens at 10am on Friday, 23 October, through AXS, Ticketmaster and Cokobar.com. As of 8:35pm WAT on Wednesday, 21 October, ticket prices and the special guests had not been announced.
