Accessibility
GistMatrix should work for everyone, on any phone, on any connection.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Listen: every story has a Listen button that reads it aloud using your phone’s built-in voice.
- Text size: use A− and A+ on any story to change the size of the text.
- Dark mode and data saver are in the menu and the footer. Data saver hides images until you need them.
- Videos we produce carry captions, and our colours are chosen so text stays readable.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the site can be read by screen readers.
If something does not work for you, please tell us and we will fix it.
