2. We check it. Our team looks at every submission and checks where it came from.
3. We ask first. If we would like to use it, we contact you on WhatsApp or email before anything is published.
4. You get the credit. We credit you by name or handle, and we agree a fee in writing for exclusive footage.

Funny moments, kindness, talent, street football, owambe energy, everyday Naija life, and anything that made you say “you have to see this”.

The rules

• You filmed it yourself, or you own the rights to it.
• You are 18 or over.
• The people in it would not be put at risk or embarrassed unfairly by it being shared.
• No graphic violence, no children in distress, and nothing illegal.

Your rights, in plain English

• You keep ownership. Sending us a clip does not transfer your copyright.
• Permission, not a free-for-all. If we use your clip, you give GistMatrix a non-exclusive licence to publish it on our website and social pages, with your credit. You can still post it anywhere else.
• Exclusives are paid. If we want exclusive rights, or to license your clip to other media, we agree the terms and the fee with you in writing first.
• Changed your mind? Tell us before we publish and we will not use it. After we publish, ask us and we will remove it from our own pages.
