Temi Nkem has won BBNaija Season 11. The 21-year-old, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, was crowned by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday night, 4 October 2026, after 70 days in Biggie’s house, Channels TV and Pulse Nigeria reported.

Aikou finished as first runner-up and Sheba came third. The grand prize package is worth ₦160m, and ThisDay says it includes ₦90m in cash and an SUV.

It nearly went another way. About two weeks before the finale, Temi was one of three housemates facing the public vote, and she only stayed because another housemate cancelled the eviction.

Who is Temi Nkem, the BBNaija Season 11 winner?

Temi Nkem is a London-born student and lifestyle content creator with Nigerian parents. Her father is from Ibusa in Delta State and her mother from Ebute Metta in Lagos, according to BellaNaija’s profile of her.

She is studying accounting and finance alongside a treasury qualification, Legit.ng reported when the show opened in July. She walked in announcing “I bring luxury, I bring spice”, and Channels TV says her fans call themselves the Teminators. Channels TV picked out her outspoken manner and British accent as what set her apart in the house.

One report got the result wrong. Leadership, in a story syndicated by AllAfrica, named Tram as runner-up. Channels TV, Pulse Nigeria and ThisDay all name Aikou as first runner-up and Sheba third, and Tram was evicted earlier on finale night.

How does her ₦160m compare with past BBNaija winners?

Temi’s package is the biggest yet. Kellyrae won ₦100m in Season 9 on 6 October 2024, and Imisi took a ₦150m package in Season 10 on 5 October 2025, BusinessDay reported. That puts this year’s prize ₦60m above the 2024 figure.

The vote was much tighter than last year. Temi took 25.87% of the final vote to Aikou’s 23.68%, according to the breakdown released by the show’s organisers on finale night, Legit.ng reported. BusinessDay put Imisi’s winning share in 2025 at 42.8%.

What happens next

Temi has said she wants to go into content creation and blogging, Vanguard reported on 4 October. As of 9.30pm WAT on Monday, 5 October, Africa Magic had not announced when the prize will be handed over or dates for a reunion show. GistMatrix will update this story when it does.
