Updated 11:30pm WAT, Thursday, 1 October 2026: Keivo has broken his silence in a message on X, taking full responsibility for the fight with Tram, Arise News reported.
Updated 8:45am WAT, Thursday, 1 October 2026: a fresh logged-out check of Keivo’s Instagram page on Thursday morning showed 51,800 followers, up from 49,400 on Wednesday evening, and his bio still naming BBNaija.
A day after Big Brother threw him out of the house, Keivo’s Instagram has gone quiet. Legit.ng reported at 4:47pm WAT on Wednesday, 30 September that the disqualified BBNaija Season 11 housemate had cleared BBNaija content from his grid and restricted comments.
GistMatrix checked the page, @keivo.oi, at about 6:20pm WAT the same day. The picture there is more mixed than the gist going round.
Keivo, whose real name is Victor Ikpe, was disqualified on Tuesday, 29 September after a physical fight with fellow housemate Tram over a shirt on the night of Monday, 28 September, days before the Show Ya Sef finale.
What did Keivo say after his disqualification?
Keivo accepted the blame for the fight in his first public message since leaving the house, shared on X and reported by Arise News on Thursday, 1 October. “I take full responsibility for my actions,” he wrote, adding that his emotions got the better of him and that “physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation”.
He thanked Big Brother and MultiChoice for the chance to take part, and the family, friends and fans who voted for him in the hope of seeing him reach the final. He promised to learn from the episode, thanked supporters for holding him accountable, and closed with an Independence Day greeting. The message did not mention Tram by name or the state of his Instagram page.
What has Keivo removed from Instagram?
Nothing posted after Sunday, 20 September was visible on his page at 6:20pm WAT on 30 September, and there was no post about the fight or the disqualification. It is not clear whether posts from the final week were deleted, archived or never made.
What is still there matters too. The 12 most recent posts, dated 9 August to 20 September, were all still up, and most carry #bbnaija and #keivotes hashtags and appeals for votes. His bio still read “OFFICIAL HANDLE OF #BBNAIJA11 HOUSEMATE”. The page had 49,400 followers, and the newest post, a thank-you to his Keivotes fans, had 11,000 likes and 218 comments.
Comments were still visible on those posts when GistMatrix checked. Legit.ng’s report of restricted comments may refer to new comments being limited, which a logged-out check cannot confirm.
Why was Keivo disqualified from BBNaija?
Big Brother disqualified Keivo after a physical altercation with Tram, Legit.ng and New Telegraph reported, after a row over who owned a shirt turned into a fight on Monday night. A video of the clash spread quickly online and split fans into two camps. As of 6pm WAT on 30 September, no sanction on Tram had been announced. Keivo spoke for the first time on 1 October (see above).
Before the show, Keivo was a 27-year-old web developer from Benue State based in Abuja, according to Legit.ng’s housemate profile. He has a geography degree from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
How are fans reacting?
Reactions on X were mostly unsympathetic. “He is not bigger than the show,” one user wrote, in a post Legit.ng quoted, while another pointed out that his bio still names BBNaija. His Keivotes fanbase had not posted a statement on his page as of the GistMatrix check.
What happens next
Voting for the winner closes at 9pm WAT on Friday, 2 October, and the Season 11 finale airs live at 7pm WAT on Sunday, 4 October on DStv and GOtv, with nine housemates left after Keivo’s exit. A reunion show usually follows the finale; Big Brother had not said whether Keivo will take part.
